Springs of Hope Christian Ministries, S. Jersey

Every child of God can defeat the world, and our faith is what gives us victory. No one can defeat the world without having faith in Jesus as the son of God (1st John 5:4-5 CEV). Faith is vital to our lives and it is essential that we do everything by faith. Likewise, faith is the greatest asset we have, while unbelief or fear is our greatest enemy.

Faith gives birth to hope, and hope will not lead to disappointment because we know how dearly God loves us. Hebrews 11:6 “ But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who come to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Looking at the series of events in the bible, unbelief had caused a lot of things to happen against God’s will. For example, unbelief caused Adam and Eve to sin, and led the children of Israel to wander in the wilderness for forty years. The unbelief of the people debarred Jesus from performing many miracles in His hometown, and in this present generation, unbelief will cause many to lose their inheritance in Christ.

Perhaps you may be wondering about what can result from putting faith into action? Faith is where the promise and the work of God are made real in the lives of his people, faith is a force that cannot be seen or explained logically, but it empowers you to operate in the divine frequency. It allows you to see things the way God see it. Faith is not something you see, but something you believe. Every hopeless or negative situation is reversible by faith. According to Luke 1:45 “Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Faith is essential in our lives.

We are saved by the faith (Ephesians 2:8-9), we live by faith (Romans 1:17), we receive righteousness by faith (Romans 4:13), we are justified by faith (Romans 5:1) and have access to God’s grace by faith (Romans 5:1-2). We also received the promise of the spirit by faith (Galatians 3:14) and we wait for Christ to return by faith (Galatians 5:5). By faith, Abel offered better sacrifices to the Lord. By faith, Noah was able to build the ark for the coming flood and by faith Abraham was willing to leave his family in order to obey the call of God.

The size of your faith determines the size of your blessings.
